Alison Sweeney returning to ‘Days of Our Lives’ as Sami Brady

Sami Brady is returning to Days of Our Lives.

Actress Alison Sweeney, who has performed the scheming cleaning soap villainess on and off for many years, is reprising her position on the long-running daytime drama. A spokesperson for Sweeney instructed Leisure Weekly on Tuesday that she is “excited to be again in Salem for just a few days.”

It is unclear what number of episodes Sweeney will likely be on, and a consultant for the present did not instantly reply to EW’s request for remark.

In response to TV Insider, which first reported the information, Sweeney is filming the Peacock sudser now, and viewers will see the ends in 2025.

“I used to be thrilled to be invited to return,” she instructed the outlet. “I like taking part in Sami and I’m at all times completely satisfied for the prospect to return again. We at all times have to determine scheduling and such, but when in any respect doable, I am so glad to make it occur.”

Sweeney first portrayed Sami in 1993, and he or she remained on the present till 2014. The daughter of Deidre Corridor’s Marlena Evans, Sami is understood for being manipulative and doing no matter it takes to get what she desires.
